Dhaka joins the worldwide POTA community
The internationally popular Parks on the Air activity has made its way to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Amateur radio operators took their portable, battery-powered stations outdoors to connect with fellow enthusiasts around the world.
The activation combined technical skill, field operating and the natural beauty of Dhaka’s green spaces—showing how amateur radio can bring people together from almost anywhere.

The latest activation ran from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Three licensed operators brought their knowledge, equipment and enthusiasm to the event.
