Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh
The Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh (ARSB) is a nationally recognized nonprofit Amateur Radio organization dedicated to promoting, developing and supporting Amateur Radio activities throughout Bangladesh.
Established to unite Amateur Radio operators and enthusiasts under a common national platform, ARSB advances technical knowledge, emergency communications, public service and international cooperation within the Amateur Radio community.
Legal and Regulatory Status
Registered Society
ARSB is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC), Bangladesh.
BTRC Recognition
The organization is recognized by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) for its contributions to Amateur Radio development, technical education and community engagement.
Through its nationally recognized club station, ARSB coordinates Amateur Radio activities, operator training, technical workshops, emergency communication exercises and public-service initiatives across Bangladesh.

Collaboration with BTRC
As an active stakeholder in Bangladesh’s Amateur Radio sector, ARSB participates in programs, events, consultations and initiatives organized by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission.
ARSB engages in discussions related to Amateur Radio regulations, licensing, spectrum management and policy development affecting licensed radio amateurs in Bangladesh.
International Cooperation
ARSB maintains communication and cooperation with organizations associated with the international Amateur Radio and telecommunications communities.
Participation in international forums, workshops and educational activities helps ARSB promote technical modernization, global friendship and knowledge exchange.
Emergency Communication and Public Service
One of ARSB’s core objectives is to strengthen emergency communication capabilities throughout Bangladesh.
Amateur Radio can provide a reliable communication resource during natural disasters, emergencies and situations in which conventional communication systems are damaged, overloaded or unavailable.
ARSB promotes operator preparedness, emergency training and coordinated voluntary communication support to assist communities when needed.
