The Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh (ARSB) is a government-registered nonprofit organization serving amateur radio operators, students, technical professionals and volunteers throughout Bangladesh.
ARSB began its activities in 2015 and was officially registered in 2019 with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms under the Societies Act, 1860. The organization is recognized by the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC).
Through training, workshops, technical activities, public awareness programs and emergency communication initiatives, ARSB helps operators develop the knowledge and practical skills required to operate responsibly and effectively.

Our Programs and Activities
ARSB combines technical education, community engagement and emergency preparedness to strengthen amateur radio in Bangladesh.
Training and Workshops
Online and in-person training, technical sessions, orientation programs and operator development activities for new and experienced radio operators.
Emergency Communication
Communication-readiness programs, drills and capability development to support communities during disasters and telecommunication outages.
Community Programs
Programs that encourage youth participation, volunteer service, technical learning and collaboration among amateur radio enthusiasts nationwide.
Policy and Advocacy
Participation in BTRC policy dialogue concerning responsible spectrum use, licensing, amateur radio development and community preparedness.
International Engagement
Communication and coordination with international amateur radio and telecommunication organizations, including participation in relevant workshops and initiatives.
Education and Youth
Collaboration with schools, colleges and universities to introduce students to radio communication, electronics, science and related technologies.
Emergency Communication Readiness
Amateur radio can provide an independent communication channel when conventional telephone and internet services are damaged, overloaded or unavailable.
