UCR Marathon at Hatirjheel, Dhaka
ARSB amateur radio operators helped keep more than 2,000 runners, organizers, hydration teams, and emergency services connected.
Hatirjheel came alive with endurance, sportsmanship, and community spirit as Ultra Camp Runner hosted a major marathon supported by ARSB’s voluntary radio communication team.
A morning of movement and unity
On October 24, 2025, Ultra Camp Runner (UCR) organized an exciting marathon at Hatirjheel in Dhaka. More than 2,000 runners from diverse backgrounds gathered to test their endurance, promote healthy living, and enjoy the fellowship of the running community.
Connecting the course from start to finish
More than 15 licensed amateur radio operators and ARSB members were stationed at strategic locations around the route. Using VHF/UHF radios, they maintained fast and dependable communication throughout the event.
