Bangladesh Makes Its Mark at Tokyo Ham Fair 2025

Bangladeshi amateur radio operator Syed Nakib Ahmed (S21NKB) proudly represented the Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh (ARSB) at the prestigious Tokyo Ham Fair 2025 in Japan. His participation marked a historic milestone for Bangladesh, as he attended the event as an officially invited guest of the Japan Amateur Radio League (JARL)—a rare and notable honour.
During the event, Mr Ahmed held important meetings with senior international leadership, including the President and Secretary of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3, as well as the current President of JARL. These high-level discussions focused on strengthening international cooperation and fostering the growth of amateur radio across the region.
Mr Ahmed extended a warm invitation to global leaders to visit Bangladesh and experience first-hand the country’s rapidly growing amateur radio movement. His participation highlighted Bangladesh’s emerging global presence and reinforced ARSB’s commitment to international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
