Bangladesh Makes Its Mark at Tokyo Ham Fair 2025

Bangladeshi amateur radio operator Syed Nakib Ahmed (S21NKB) proudly represented the Amateur Radio Society Bangladesh (ARSB) at the prestigious Tokyo Ham Fair 2025 in Japan. His participation marked a historic milestone for Bangladesh, as he attended the event as an officially invited guest of the Japan Amateur Radio League (JARL)—a rare and notable honor.

During the event, Mr. Ahmed held important meetings with senior international leadership, including the President and Secretary of the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU) Region 3, as well as the current President of JARL. These high‑level discussions focused on strengthening international cooperation and fostering the growth of amateur radio across the region.

In his meetings, Mr. Ahmed extended a warm invitation to the global leaders to visit Bangladesh and experience firsthand the country’s rapidly growing amateur radio movement. His participation not only highlighted Bangladesh’s emerging presence on the global amateur radio stage but also reinforced ARSB’s commitment to international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
