Pantonix Tiger Run 2025
Running for the Sundarbans—supported by amateur radio communications, volunteer coordination and a shared commitment to conservation.
Run with a purpose
A community moving together for the Sundarbans
The Pantonix Tiger Run 2025 brought together more than 900 men, women and children at Hatirjheel, Dhaka. The 7.5 km event raised public awareness about preserving the Sundarbans—the world’s largest mangrove forest and a vital habitat of the endangered Bengal tiger.
Amateur Radio Society of Bangladesh (ARSB) volunteers supported event communications, logistics, water points, vehicle movement and control-station activities to help deliver a safe and well-coordinated event.

Why it matters
Protecting a globally important ecosystem
The Sundarbans faces deforestation, climate change and rising sea levels. Protecting this fragile landscape is essential for its remarkable biodiversity, the communities that depend on it and the future of the Bengal tiger. Events like the Tiger Run help turn awareness into community participation.
Heartfelt appreciation to the ARSB members whose volunteer support helped make the Pantonix Tiger Run Dhaka 2025 safe, organized and successful.— Moshiur Khandaker, Chief Coordinator
