Bangladesh Scouts connecting with the world through amateur radio and the internet.
Radio, technology and international friendship
The 62nd Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and the 23rd Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) brought Scouts together through two powerful communication platforms. The Amateur Radio Society Bangladesh (ARSB) participated in the programme at the National Scout Headquarters in Dhaka.
Through amateur radio and online communication, Scouts had the opportunity to connect with peers beyond borders, experience live communication technology and discover how radio can support learning, friendship and public service.

How Scouts connected
Jamboree on the Air
Amateur radio gives Scouts the experience of speaking with other participants across cities and countries using radio communication.
Jamboree on the Internet
Internet-based activities allow Scouts to exchange ideas, cultures and friendship through a shared global programme.
Communication creates understanding.
JOTA–JOTI offers young people a practical introduction to communication technology while encouraging curiosity, teamwork and international friendship. ARSB’s participation helped bring the world of amateur radio closer to Bangladesh’s Scout community.
