Amateur Radio Society Bangladesh (ARSB) organized an event on Emergency Amateur Radio Support on 27 September 2024 at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in Dhaka. The event aimed to highlight the critical role that amateur radio operators play during emergencies, providing vital communication links when conventional systems fail. Participants from various regions attended, including experienced radio operators, emergency response teams, and enthusiasts eager to learn more about the importance of amateur radio in disaster management and community support.

More than 50 people attended this seminar and shared their practical experiences. Among the attendees were notable individuals such as Didarul Islam Sujon from the Bangladesh Vespa Community (BVC), District Magistrate Mr. Shafique Redowan Arman Shakil ,Additional district magistrate and Ashfaque Ahmed (S21AU) a senior member of the Amateur Radio community was present Additionally, Shamsul Huda (S21HD) presented his repatriation experience from both India and Bangladesh, providing valuable insights into the challenges and solutions encountered during the process.

The event was made even more special by the presence of a member of the Amateur Radio Society Bangladesh (ARSB). Their participation provided valuable insights into the world of amateur radio and its significance in modern communication.
