Family Runner Event
On October 17, 2025, Family Runner successfully organized an exhilarating 7.5 km marathon at Hatirjheel, Dhaka. This engaging event was open to men, women, and children, providing a fantastic opportunity for families and individuals to come together in the spirit of fitness and community.
The event’s communication partner was the Amateur Radio Society Bangladesh (ARSB). More than 20 dedicated amateur radio operators and ARSB members generously volunteered their time and expertise to ensure seamless communication throughout the marathon. Their roles included:
Hydrant Point Coordination: Ensuring that participants had access to hydration stations throughout the course.
Ambulance Communication: Coordinating with medical teams to provide swift medical assistance when needed.
Emergency Support: Facilitating communication between organizers and emergency services to enhance event safety.
